Weather patterns getting worse all over the US and perhaps the whole earth.
Unexpected and unprecedented rain struck over the weekend — with Hurricane Joaquin-increased intensity of storms dropping as much as 20 inches of water in some areas — many of the dams were strained beyond capacity.

Historic rains have flooded large swaths of South Carolina, tearing apart roadways, trapping residents and ruining water supplies. At least nine weather-related deaths are linked to the storms. South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley gave this numerical assessment of the emergency:

2,700 Calls for emergency help
1,300 National Guard troops deployed throughout the state
932 People seeking refuge in 25 shelters.
910 Traffic collisions 550 Roads closed
